Welcome to Doggy Decorum! I'm Andrea, the owner and head trainer. My journey with dogs started in 2007, and it has been the most rewarding career I could have imagined. I believe that every dog is unique, and training should be tailored to their individual personality, needs, and learning style. That's why I take a wholistic approach that considers not just behavior, but also nutrition, environment, and the emotional bond between you and your dog. My methods are based on positive reinforcement - using rewards, praise, and encouragement rather than punishment or fear. This creates a fun learning experience for your dog and builds a foundation of trust and respect. When I'm not training dogs, you can find me hiking with my own pack, attending continuing education seminars, or volunteering at local rescue organizations.
